Yeah, we weren't dead. We just went quiet to really focus on 2.5. After 2.0's release, which ended up being a terrible release for a number of reasons but mostly due to my incompetence managing files, we realized we really needed to button down and focus more on quality which was the original aim of the mod and less on adding new weapons. With this release, I feel confident that we've achieved that goal AND we've still managed to add a good 50 or so new weapons to the mod as well as replace a few existing weapons with better meshes and textures.
- Tons, and tons, and tons of bugfixes: massive changelog!
- ~50 new weapons, with a handful of mesh and/or texture improvements on several of existing ones!
- New sound system structure that allows for easy sound mods!
- New but unfinished immersion focused esp (really encourage people to finish this one!)
- Complete and TOTAL rebalance done on all weapons!
- Leveled lists now have nearly 50% of the pack's weapons in the game... doesn't sound like a lot? That's over 150 new weapons integrated into the game. Enough?
- Massive focus on quality across the board!
- New support for DLCs!
- New version of AAS - Alternate Armor System by Anime Schoolgirl!
- List of all the weapons in the pack!
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: WAR (Weapon Animation Replacers) is absolutely REQUIRED. Several animations in the pack depend on it. NOT. OPTIONAL. A large portion of our bug reports come from people who haven't installed it OR have a botched install of it.
Download:
The Armory v2.5: Pre-made FOMOD (950mb)
OR
The Armory v2.5: FOMOD-Ready Manual Install 7zip (750mb)
I hope you guys really enjoy this release - an unreal amount of work from several people went into making this mod the best it could be!

It's been a while since I last posted some updates here.
We've been working quite hard recently and have been able to finish a lot of work. Below follows some of the things we've finished.
--
First out is the control point that will be featured in our first map, Glacier Islands. I've not really talked too much about control points, but the short explanation would be that they're neutral buildings that can be conquered by either of the players who then gains different kinds of bonuses that will help defeat the enemy players. After the first player has conquered a control point, it's up to the other players (apart from the controller's allies, obviously), to conquer it from the current controller.
So, the control point of today is the Forest Sentinel, a building that works much like the Night Elven Ancient Guardian, except his bigger, badder and cannot uproot. To gain control of the Forest Sentinel, one of the two opposing players must defeat him. While under one player's control, this player can choose to upgrade the Ancient to increase his power. If the Ancient is upgraded and then lost to the other player, worry not, because one player's upgrades do not count for the other. However, if you upgrade the Ancient, lose him and then take him back, you don't have to upgrade him again.

The Armory v2.0 Official Release!
by Team Happy Happ..., 18th Jun 11
So without a whole lot of fanfare, here is the manual 7zip (505MB) of The Armory v2.0, and here is the current mirror of the FOMOD (668MB) version (Mirror 2). If you use the manual version, be sure to read the readmes. They both extract to ~2.5GB.
For what's in the pack, use this database of weapons to check it out. It's also included in the manual installation. If you want to see what's fixed, changed, added, etc. then check it out here.
Included in the pack is the Alternate Armor System, a pretty kickass mod that tries to re-balance the game's armor system to make things feel more real.
Sorry for the wait, folks, hopefully the next one won't take quite so long to do. Enjoy!
===!ALERT!===
Due to my general incompetence, the ESM in the original release is an outdated one not containing several fixes as well as the AP re-balancing. The links have all been updated with fixed ones, but if you were one of the first people to download the mod, then you will need this update and extract the ESM into your Data folder. If you're using the Realism Setting mod, then extract that too. If this is the first time you are downloading the mod, you will not need this as the files have already been updated and reuploaded.
Sorry for the confusion!

The Armory v2.0 News Update
by Team Happy Happ..., 8th May 11
Hey folks, I know everyone's anxious for the next release and it's coming. The team member who balances everything and maintains the realism/leveled lists patches came down with something pretty nasty for a couple weeks so he wasn't able to work on updating. To make up for it though, we decided to add even more things to the pack - there are now at least 15 different weapons included from when I said we were content complete three weeks ago. So many apologies for the delays, and it's still coming soon. At this point, I'd like to release around the new DLC's release. Hopefully!
There was an issue with the site's functionality over the last few days where links on the left that connected to the main areas were not working. This has now been resolved and we're back to normal.
