Fall of the Gods new units

There are a few new units in Fall of the Gods, but they all appear as "special" ones - like Hunter Killers in Starcraft, and are not trainable. All of them have been transferred from the book with as little deviations as possible.

Jamert's Priest

Unit Class: Templar
Allegiance: Guarded Kingdom

Jamert's Priests are the servants of Jamert selected from humans. They are granted superhuman powers like shields and psionic attack that can incinerate an enemy in seconds, and in return they spread the influence of the Young Gods, as well as maintain it within the Kingdom itself. The main Solar Temple in Vidvaghar, the capital of the Guarded Kingdom, is the source of the Priests' power, and it is rumored that a great artifact is stored within this beautiful building, and this artifact gives the priests their power. No one ever dared to check if it is true, because only a crazy fool might think of attacking the priests.

"Stop, infidels! The wrath of the mighty Young Gods will fall upon you if you draw even one more step into the Temple!! The Eternal Darkness will engulf you, the Time Dragons will consume your souls for your blasphemy!!!"

Psionic Warrior

Unit Class: Archon
Allegiance: Variable

Psionic Warriors are beings of pure energy created by various sorcerers for various purposes. These creatures serve their masters unquestioningly, but at the same time they have a well-developed intelligence, if only for combat. Psionic Warriors are commonly used by the Magi and even the Gods as guards, messengers or enforcers. Rakoth owes his defeat to a squad of these powerful creatures sent by the Gods when the Generation's final assault on his citadel has stalled.

Spirit Leader

Unit Class: High Templar
Allegiance: The Young Gods

Only twelve Spirit Leaders existed, and they are the elite servants of the Young Gods. Though they are ethereal and do not usually have a constant form, they are formidable warriors and sorcerers. They defeated all the Aesir in duels during the Battle of Borghild - only Odin was victorious over his opponent then. Spirit Leaders are usually staying in the Hallowed Land to guard their masters, but sometimes are sent out against the Gods' more dangerous enemies.

"Ah, so you are still alive. Master Jamert was kind enough to prevent our encounter for that long, but now's the time! Just wait till I finish my job here, and I'll crush you!"

Night Witch

Unit Class: Infested Kerrigan
Allegiance: N/A

No one knows where this band of fierce female warriors appeared from. Some say they were a tribe of amazons cursed by the Gods for their cruelty and twisted into the form they are now in. Others argue that they might be the descendants of primeval Jotuns. Either way, the Night Witches are feared throughout the land, being cruel and violent beyond all measures. However, they also have cunning and acute minds, and this makes them doubly dangerous. And recently, the reports indicated that the witches started behaving like there's a common will guiding them to an objective unseen to anyone but that very guiding person.

"It's your end, Terran. You will be all ours, and then you pay for everything. You and you buddy too - though now he looks more like pork roast, the hungry demons will surely appreciate even such a gift."

Time Dragon

Unit Class: Unique
Allegiance: None

Time Dragons are ancient and strange beings, as they are the essence of Time. Long ago, the sorcerers and shamans of a tribe in Northern Hjorvard discovered the way to ascend into the domain of the Time Dragons - the River of Time - and see these creatures. Over time, these shamans discovered the way to communicate with the Dragons, and gained much knowledge from them. Later, their wisdom was inscribed on the stone walls of their temples. However, the Young Gods and the Generation could not leave this uncontrolled source of wisdom be, so their wrath was swift. Most of the tribe was destroyed and the temples were ruined. However, those who survived vowed revenge. And one day, Hedin found them during his exile. He managed to unearth the stones inscribed with the results of shamans' labor, and learned a great spell which may summon Time Dragons to his side should the things go sour. Unfortunately, the spell only works once and cannot be tested.
