JimB was webmaster of World of WarCraft website wowgaming.com (Currently occupied by domain squatters). This document is the legacy of his experience through creating a site and the many aspects of the upcoming MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) by Blizzard, World of WarCraft.

Hello there, my name is JimB, a once-webmaster of a World of Warcraft fansite. The fansite, once wowgaming.com, was, for a time, dedicated to finding wisdom and community in the WoW social experience. Much of this was done through articles, articles which we my hope, my dream, my testament to the Warcraft community. A dead dream, admittedly, but a dream nevertheless. So here is my legacy, my articles. Spelling errors aplenty. =)

The document, found from a Warbucket link to the zip file named 'everything'. I do not know if there was a particular subtitle. Since 'Everything' is too vague, the unofficial one I have given it is 'Running a WarCraft Fansite', though it deals with a lot more.

This is a massive, 58-page trek through the creation of fansites and advice for doing so, as well as multiplayer gaming, the design, problems and the possibilities with World of WarCraft, gaming addiction and even a look at philosophy behind it, gaming community's, a look at the society's of the WarCraft world and more. There are spelling errors aplenty, he admits, but it does not detract from the wisdom within.

There are texts and inputs from other fans and webmasters, but it's all extremely finely-woven together by JimB. This is very worthwhile, quality reading for WarCraft fans, fan site makers or gamers in general.

A notable legacy for a true fan.
